Char Siew Fried Rice

Serves: 1
Time needed: 10 minutes

Ingredients:
♦ 1 tsp Margarine/Butter
♦ 1 bowl White rice, cooked
♦ 1 Egg, beaten
♦ ¼ Slice Char siew
♦ 2 leafy Cabbage
♦ 2 tbsp water
♦ 2 tbsp dark soya sauce
♦ Dash of pepper

Methods:
♦ Heat frying pan and coat pan base with margarine/butter
♦ Stir fry beaten egg and put aside
♦ Stir fry char siew, rice and add in water
♦ Mix in stir-fried egg, dark soya sauce and pepper

Get simple with Instant seasoning

Serves: 1
Time needed: 5 minutes

Ingredients:
♦ 1 sachet Korean CJ Babirang (Rice seasoning)


♦ 1 egg
♦ 1 packet KOKA Plain noodles
♦ 1/2 tbsp Butter
♦ 500ml water

Methods:
♦ Bring water to boil, add in noodles
♦ Drain cooked noodles and mix with 3/4 of butter and 3/4 sachet of rice seasoning
♦ Beat eggs and remaining 1/4 rice seasoning
♦ Pan-fry beaten egg mixture with remaining butter

Serve!

Noodles from leftover dish

[Leftover dish] Luncheon, potato, carrot and onion in tomato sauce

Serves: 6
Time needed: 20 minutes

Ingredients:
♦ 1 can luncheon meat, diced
♦ 2 potatoes, diced
♦ 1/2 stick carrot, diced
♦ 1 onion, sliced
♦ 1 tbsp tomato sauce
♦ 2 tbsp chicken stock granules
♦ 200ml water
♦ Little cooking oil

Methods:
♦ Stir fry sliced onion in cooking oil, add in diced potatoes, carrots and water
♦ Cover lid, leave it to boil while constantly stir fry for 10 minutes
♦ Add in diced luncheon meat and stir fry for another 3-5 minutes
♦ Add tomato sauce and chicken stock granules
♦ Stir fry and close lid
♦ Serve dish in another 3 minutes

[Noodles from leftover dish]

Serves: 1
Time needed: 8 minutes

Ingredients:
♦ small portion of leftover dish
♦ 3 leaves of cabbage, chopped
♦ 1 pkt of instant noodles (without seasoning)
♦ 1/2 tsp chicken stock granules
♦ pepper to taste
♦ 350ml water
♦ 1 slice cheesedale cheese (optional)

Methods:
♦ Bring water to boil
♦ Add in leftover dish and chopped cabbage and leave to boil for about 3 minutes
♦ Add in instant noodles and leave to boil for another 2 minutes
♦ Add chicken stock granules and dash of pepper to taste
♦ Serve in 1-2 minutes
♦ For a creamy taste, top cheese slice on served noodles and wait till it melts

Tuna Lettuce Sandwich

Serves: 1
Time needed: 10 minutes

Ingredients:
♦ 1/4 bowl (approx, 3 tbsp) Tuna in oil
♦ 1tsp lettuce, finely chopped
♦ 3 slices bread
♦ 1/2 tbsp Mayonnaise
♦ 1 slice square-cut cheese

Methods:
♦ Drain tuna and chop finely
♦ Mix chopped tuna, lettuce and mayonnaise in bowl
♦ Slice cheese diagonally
♦ Spread mixture on bread, top with sliced cheese on each side

Fruitty White Fungus Dessert

Serves: 10
Time needed: 35 minutes

Ingredients:
♦ 4 flowers of White fungus, soaked for 10 - 30 mins
♦ 1700ml water, boiled
♦ 3 - 4 petals of Pandan Leaves, tied
♦ 1 medium size Rock sugar
♦ 1 can (825g) Tropical Fruit Cocktail (in heavy syrup)



Methods:
♦ Peel and wash soaked white fungus



♦ Bring washed white fungus, pandan leaves & boiled water to boil over medium to low heat, stir occasionally


♦ Remove pandan leaves after 10 minutes and leave the rest to simmer for another 10 minutes
♦ Add in rock sugar and leave to simmer for another 10 minutes
♦ Pour in tropical fruit cocktail (with syrup)
♦ Stir lightly and simmer for 3 minutes


[Best taken chilled!!]

Egg Mayo & Crabstick Sandwich

Serves: 3
Time needed: 20 minutes

Ingredients:
♦ 2 Eggs
♦ 2 fozen crabsticks, thawed
♦ 3 slices lettuce, optional
♦ 1 tbsp Mayonnaise
♦ 9 slices bread
♦ Pepper to taste

Methods:
♦ Boil eggs in pot for 5 mins, leave to simmer for another 5 mins
♦ Scald crabsticks over boiling water until soften
♦ Finely chop peeled boiled eggs and crabsticks
♦ Mix chopped eggs, crabsticks, mayonnaise and pepper in a bowl
♦ Arrange and spread mixture on bread
